I was born in 1979 in Varese, green and pleasant and yet boring little city north of Milan.
I think I always loved drawing since I was a little child when, with my brother, we used to "play" a game to see which one was the best in copying any of the images that stimulated our interest.
Another great childhood interest was passing hours and hours reading and admiring the illustrations inside this little masterpiece of encyclopedia whose name sounded like "Knowing".

After two years spent on a secondary art school where the only thing I did learn was a good technique to copy, my interest for drawing seemed to be completely gone. Meanwhile I found different kind of interests in which 3D modelling stood out and spent the next years trying to become a good modeller just to come to the conclusion I didn't have the patience to master all that technical stuff a good modeller needs to know (not counting how annoying was to wait for my old and slow pc to finish those rendering just to discover that some setting wasn't as correct as I thought!).
It was the discovery of international communities dedicated to the world of drawing a few years ago that lighted in me the passion for drawing again: so armed with my pc, a tablet and Photoshop I begun drawing once more, without being conscious of how little I really knew about the very fundamentals of drawing.
It was hard to take conscience of how behind I was and how much work and study it's needed to reach a level of skill barely acceptable.
Looking now at my images from that beginning I konw I have reached that level, and yet the road to excellence is still a long, very long way...

Actually I create my images both in digital (with Painter) and traditional with oils, gouache and watercolours, conscious that the only real limit now is my own imagination!!
